Hello and welcome to your regular “What floral-themed outfit did Blake Lively wear next?” update.

If you haven't been keeping up, quick sidebar: Blake is currently on the promotional tour for her upcoming movie, It Ends With Us, the film adaptation of the Colleen Hoover novel of the same name. And, as per the current Hollywood trend for method dressing (see Margot Robbie promoting Barbie, Zendaya for both Dune and Challengers, plus Anya Taylor-Joy giving Mad Max Saga IRL), the leading lady has been sticking to a *very* specific theme with all her looks.

That theme is florals – a fitting choice given her character in the movie is flower shop owner, Lily Bloom. With a name like that, it could only be fiction, but we digress. We've previously seen her rock a nude floral leather lace dress, a floral-embellished tutu, a sheer black mini dress decorated with elaborate sequinned flowers and Valentino flower cut-out jeans.

So where has she taken the floral theme next, we hear you ask?

Back to high school. Donning a denim three-piece suit consisting of a blazer, square-neck crop top and wide-leg jeans all embellished with XL rose crystals, Blake looked like she'd stepped straight out of the 2000s. In fact, the set is from Cinq à Sept's upcoming Resort 2025 collection.

Blake styled the look with Christian Louboutin navy satin heels to coordinate with the dark wash of the denim. And, in a further noughties nod, styled her trademark blond wavy hair in a deep Y2K side part.

Everyone's clicking on...

Having thanked Gen Z in the caption of her outfit post for making her ensemble socially acceptable (again), some of her younger fans took to the comments section writing, “absolutely ate, devoured and left zero crumbs 🥰 xoxo, one of them gen z’s”, with a second adding “Gen-Z loves you 👏”, and another agreeing, “you’re the fashion icon of the gen z!!! we love u”.

Here's hoping the It Ends With Us press tour never ends.
