Let's be honest, the Kardashians are pretty well-known for their tendency to be *seriously* extra at times. We've lost count of how many tears, tantrums and arguments we've seen from them over the years – and who could possibly forget Kim's mega freak-out when she lost a diamond earring in Bora Bora? Not that it doesn't make great television, obvs.
But still, the famous family's ability to be totally OTT never fails to astonish us – and it extends to their fashion sense too. Popping round to their mum's house in a perfectly curated skin-tight 'fit, sky-high heels and a full face of glam, wearing actual ballgowns for Christmas, and rocking up to a BFF's wedding in a dress that's more cut-out than material are all par for the course for these girls, it seems.
The undisputed queen of the family Kim, however, has just taken the extra-ness to a whole new level. We're talking about her all-white 'fit for Michael Rubin's recent star-studded party, and one accessory in particular...
Spotted what we're talking about yet? Yep, that *is* Kim wearing a Y2K-style belly chain featuring a gigantic diamond. Custom made for the star by jewellery brand Messika, the piece features is a 17-carat pear-shaped diamond – and it's estimated to be worth more than £1million. Crazy, right!?!?
Only Kim could pull off such extravagance. To let the diamond-encrusted belly chain take centre-stage (understandably), the SKIMS founder kept the rest of her look for the party relatively low-key, wearing a sheer white knitted crop top and matching low-rise maxi skirt.
Kim was just one of many famous guests who were dressed to the nines for the white-themed party. Kendall Jenner stunned in a teeny tiny and seriously see-through mini dress, while Hailey Bieber opted for an on-trend ruffled maxi. Beyoncé, meanwhile, also got the mega diamond accessory memo, topping her corseted dress with a pair of seriously sparkly sunnies.
Here's hoping we make the guest-list next year...
