One thing about Kim Kardashian? She's the queen of swimwear. Not only does her shapewear brand SKIMS have plenty of gorgeous pool-ready options, she's also been known to consistently rock some iconic bikinis - and her latest IG post has just reminded us of that fact.
Specifically, Kim took to IG to show off one of SKIMS' iconic new swimwear looks - just in time for summer and holiday szn. The look in question featured dipped front, high leg thong briefs in aqua blue and a matching halter neck string bikini top. She topped the look off with huge wraparound shades and wore her dark hair long and loose, alongside rocking long af coffin nails in nude. In the pics, shared to her IG, she is seen strutting on a white sand beach in front of the ocean.
Gorgeous, right? Well alongside this major look, she also penned a stellar caption referencing an iconic moment in Kardashian lore: "Just a reminder 💎". The phrase (and specifically the emoji) appears to reference the family holiday in Bora Bora when Kim lost her $75,000 dollar diamond earring in the ocean. After realising she had lost the earring, Kim started crying and was told by sister Kourtney - in what is now considered an iconic moment in reality tv history - "there's people that are dying".
The exchange was captured in the sixth season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, which aired in 2011, but fans are clearly obsessed, with many picking up on the reference and making it known in the comments.
Some of our fave comments include:
"She’s finding her earring"
"KIM THERE ARE PEOPLE DYING!!"
"The fact that I got the reference immediately"
"We didn’t forget kim"
If you need us, we'll be rewatching KUWTK season 6, episode 12.
