This week Meghan Markle and Prince Harry enjoyed a trip to the theatre to see a charity performance of London's ever-popular Hamilton, the musical.
The gala was benefitting Prince Harry's charity, Sentebale, and the pair looked pretty happy to have nabbed since to the production, TBH.
On the night, Meghan surprised us all by wearing a tuxedo black dress just a tad shorter than any of the other outfits that she's worn since becoming a royal. It was surprising because word on the posh streets of Buckingham Palace is that apparently the Queen prefers skirts to fall just on, or below, the knee, making this a break in royal protocol.
What you may not have noticed, however, is that wasn't the only 'royal rule' that Meg appeared to break. If you look closely - yes, at Meghan's legs, we know it's a bit weird - you'll spot that the Duchess of Sussex wasn't wearing any tights with her dress.
Not a big deal, obviously, but it has been reported previously that Queenie prefers royal ladies to wear tights and it's a rule Kate Middleton almost always sticks to.
Meghan hasn't been afraid to ditch the pantyhose previously. In fact, in her official engagement pics, Meghan was very much tights-free. Then, after she married Prince Harry everyone kicked off about her wearing tights for her first royal engagement.
Everyone's clicking on...
Basically Meghan can't seem to win no matter what she does! So maybe we should all just move on and stop caring about her bare legs so much?
Instead, why not get her look with a black tuxedo dress of your own! Yay!
