Did someone say khaleesi? Because it appears we have a new mother of dragons, after Gigi Hadid debuted a new dragon (temporary) tattoo whilst on a recent girls' trip, and the internet is obsessed.
Posting on her Instagram yesterday (14th July) Gigi, who currently appears to be a on group holiday with her closest friends, shared two photos of herself relaxing on a sun lounger wearing a patterned tie string bikini. In the second picture, the new black dragon tattoo on her upper thigh is front and centre as Gigi smiles into the camera.
Gigi simply captioned the post: "mornin! ๐". Slide to the second picture to see the tattoo:
Gigi's post has already received nearly 2.5 million likes and the comment section is full of people praising the tattoo, with one commenter saying: "dragon queen ๐๐ค" and another follower said: "Giii with a tattoo this summer ๐๐" and another said: "dragon summer girl๐โจ."
Many of Gigi's celeb pals also loved the bikini picture, with Mindy Kaling commenting: "Omg", and model Candice Swanepoel said: "Princess mama ๐ฉต".
However, it appears Gigi's tattoo is most likely here for a good time not a long time, as an Instagram Story, shared by Gigi's friend and photographer Alana O'Herlihy, shows a close up of Gigi's tattoo, which still appears to have the shine on it that comes from a water-based transfer tattoo.
Gigi reshared the closeup shot on her own Instagram Story captioning it: "Am I in my girl w the dragon tattoo era?". It appears you might be Gigi.
Though this piece of body art is most likely temporary, Gigi does have one real tattoo.
Her permanent tattoo is in honour of her daughter Khai, whom she shares with her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, and is a delicate, small tattoo of Khai's name in Arabic, which appears to be in a red font. So cute!
