The end of the latest season of I'm A Celebrity: South Africa is approaching, but the drama from the jungle is far from over.
Contestants may've defeated a thick mud pit, five-hour trial and all sorts of classic creepy crawlies, but eight months since filming concluded in South Africa and a feud between two contestants is reportedly ongoing.
Ahead of the cast reunion on Friday, 24th April for the live final of the season reports have emerged of Jimmy Bullard allegedly trying to back out of attending.
It follows the former footballer clashing with Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas during filming of the TV show.
The duo were paired together for a Bushtucker Trial dubbed Rancid Run and the stakes were high - the losing pair of the trial getting evicted from camp.
But as the trial - which aired in last night's episode - was just getting started, Bullard pulled back, telling hosts Ant and Dec he didn't "have it in" him to take part anymore.
He turned to partner Thomas saying, as reported by The Sun: "Sorry Ad, so sorry. I’m a celebrity, get me out of here."
His place in the show in jeopardy, Thomas shouted to his teammate: "You’re joking me bro. Jim, come on, man. Don’t do this bro! Is that how we’re going out, yeah?"
He continued: "You f***ing taking the piss? I am in there getting covered in f***ing ants."
After being told to "calm down" by Bullard, Thomas responded: "What’s up with you, bro? If you wanted to go, go – don’t take me with you. Go home in camp, don’t do it on my f**ing watch.
"What is up with you? Tell me why? All you had to do was run through some f***ing mud and you said get me out of here."
Bullard remained resolute saying he'd had "enough" of the show and ultimately it was up to him to "choose" whether to participate.
He later told the cameras: "Letting Adam down’s a killer. He’s my boy, you know? From day dot, we had the craic. He wants to do well, and I get it."
Bullard added without David Haye, Gemma Collins to "bounce off," alongside missing his mum and dad at home - his dad not "too well" - his "time was up in the game".
Given Bullard didn't attempt the trial Ant and Dec decided to step in, allowing the other contestants to vote on whether to keep Thomas in or not - Thomas remaining in.
However, despite being saved, the fallout between the pair has reportedly continued post-filming, with The Sun claiming Bullard is trying to get out of attending the show's final.
A source told The Sun: "Adam and Jimmy weren’t able to mend their friendship in South Africa after the massive row broke out. It’s thrown doubt on whether both of them will be at the live final."
And an insider has since told the outlet: "Jimmy says there’s no way he’ll be turning up on Friday, which means he won’t be paid his full show fee. [...] he’s been adamant for months that there’s no going back with Adam and he is prepared to face the consequences."
They resolved: "Both men acted in a way they’re not proud of. [...] It's a very sad turn of events."
Since leaving the jungle, neither Bullard nor Thomas have commented on the feud.
