BBC's The Celebrity Traitors is in full swing, with last night's episode seeing the first 'murder' of the series take place, RIP Paloma Faith. And her murder by Traitor Alan Carr was made even more devastating for viewers and Faithfuls alike, because Alan and Paloma are friends outside of the show. And they're not the only ones.
This year's cast of Celebrity Traitors is full of cast members who all knew each other before the show. Some have interviewed each other, others have competed against each other on TV and some have appeared in the same movies together.
And so, unlike the traditional version of The Traitors in which the cast have never met before and therefore get away with lying about themselves more easily, the celebrity Traitors will have no such luck. However, this is likely to make the game even more interesting, can they use their familiar personality to their advantage and hide in plain sight like Alan Carr? Or will it be their undoing when someone notices something different about their usual persona?

Paloma Faith and Alan Carr are besties IRL
As mentioned extensively during last night's episode Alan Carr and Paloma Faith are firm friends outside of The Celebrity Traitors. This made it all the more painful when Alan chose to murder Paloma in plain sight by pretending to wipe away a hair from her eyes, when instead he was actually brushing her skin with the poison.
The pair have known each other for years, with Alan having interviewed Paloma on his talk show Chatty Man many times. They've even dressed up together for Halloween to attend Jonathan Ross' Halloween party.
Paloma Faith and Cat Burns have the same record label
After it was revealed Paloma was murdered she went on The Celebrity Traitors spin-off show The Traitors: Uncloaked where discovered who the Traitors were.
When it was revealed on the scroll Cat Burns was one of the Traitors, Paloma was shocked and said she expected more loyalty from Cat as they're on the same record label.
Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie and Paloma Faith were all in the same film
Also revealed during last night's episode was the reminder that Stephen Fry, Celia Imrie and Paloma Faith all starred in the 2007 iconic movie St Trinian's.
Their connection was revealed when the cast had to guess who had a coffin assigned to them in the task. One clue that was given to the cast was a tie to hint at the St Trinian's movie, which prompted the group to talk about the movie.
In St Trinian's, Paloma played one of the emo girls at the school Andrea, Celia played the matron and Stephen Fry starred as himself, while hosting the quiz competition.
Celia was the only one of the three to star in the sequel.
Alan Carr has interviewed many of the cast
It's likely Alan has met the majority of his fellow Traitors cast over the years, thanks to his job as a chat show host on his own show Alan Carr: Chatty Man.
During the show's run he interviewed Jonathan Ross, Clare Balding, Tom Daley, Stephen Fry and Paloma Faith.

Jonathan Ross is also likely to have met the majority of the cast thanks to his talk show The Jonathan Ross show. Over the years his guests have included Stephen Fry, Joe Marler, Tom Daley, and Paloma Faith.
Tom Daley and Clare Balding have crossed paths many times during sports events
As Tom Daley is an Olympic diver and Clare Balding is one of the country's biggest sports commentators, the pair have frequently crossed paths.
The pair have known each other for over a decade, with Tom appearing on Clare's sports chat show The Clare Balding Show.
Tom Daley and Lucy Beaumont did Bake Off together
Clare isn't the only fellow cast member Tom knows well. Back in 2023, he competed on The Great British Bake Off Stand Up To Cancer, alongside Lucy Beaumont.
The pair were up against Adele Roberts and Tom Morrissey, who claimed the Star Baker title.
Jonathan Ross judged Kate Garraway and Charlotte Church on The Masked Singer
Jonathan Ross has served as a judge on the UK version of The Masked Singer since its inception in 2020.
Charlotte Church competed on the show in 2022 and was runner up, while Kate Garraway was part of the show this year and was unfortunately the first to be voted out.
Lucy Beaumont and Joe Wilkinson were on 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown
Joe Wilkinson has been a main part of 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown since 2012, often serving as Rachel Riley's assistant.
Lucy Beaumont, a fellow comedian, has appeared on the show alongside Joe.
Stephen Fry and Joe Wilkinson were both in Sex Education
In one of the more unexpected connections of the cast, Stephen and Joe were both in Netflix's Sex Education. Stephen starred as himself during a quiz hosting segment in season one, while Joe starred as Jeffery for seasons one and three.
The pair didn't have any scenes together, but we'd like to imagine their paths crossed on set.
Stephen Fry and Celia Imrie were in a TV show together
Not only were Celia and Stephen in St Trinian's together, but they also starred in the 2007 drama Kingdom, about a small law firm based in Norfolk. The show ran for three seasons and Stephen played the lead character Peter Kingdom, who ran the law firm and Celia played Gloria, his legal secretary.
Celia Imrie and Nick Mohammed were in the same Bridget Jones movie
In 2016 Celia reprised her role as Una Alconbury in the third Bridget Jones movie, Bridget Jones's Baby. Nick joined the cast for the third movie as Ariyaratna.
