Are Married At First Sight UK's Sarah and Dean still together?

Married At First Sight UK is officially underway for 2025, with two couples now hitched.

The series kicked off on Sunday 21st September on E4 and introduced us to the 18 singletons looking for love.

We also got to see two couples say "I do" - one of those couples is Sarah and Dean.

Recruitment consultant from Aberdeen, Sarah, 31, admitted she’d gone for bad boys in the past, but that hadn’t worked out, and was now looking to marry the "nicest guy in the world."

Enter Dean, a 31-year-old team building host from Feltham, who confessed that while he’s been in love, he’s never truly felt loved in return and has always been told he’s "punching".

However, when Sarah met Dean at the aisle, it wasn't love at first sight as she instantly admitted: "No I don’t fancy Dean, I’m so sorry."

Dean and Sarah’s take on their wedding day couldn’t have been more different. While Dean rapped his vows and declared she’d passed the vibe check, Sarah admitted she didn’t fancy him.

"He's just over the top. That's put me right off," she said after hearing the rap.

"I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed. The rap is not something I envisioned, I have to say."

Beaming, Dean said in his confessional: "She joined in on the big rap. She was loving it. It was way better than anything I could have hoped. This is my type of lady. She has passed the vibe check. The vibe check is off the scale."

Speaking to the cameras, Sarah added: "Dean is such a lovely guy but I'm going to have to be honest, I don't want to rip his clothes off. I'm just sensing a friend vibe more than a romantic vibe and I haven't come her for a friend.

"My main concern is obviously there's not that initial attraction. There's not that initial spark between us or in my opinion anyway. He hasn't got any tattoos."

At the wedding reception the couple chatted at the head table. Dean asked Sarah what her usual type is and she said it was someone who looked like they've come out of "jail" and asked if he had any tattoos. He said he was far from a bad boy and actually referred to himself as a "mummy's boy".

"Hopefully she's ready to be treated properly," he told the cameras.

Dean then surprised Sarah with another song that really got under her skin. He’d already sung at the ceremony, and she was starting to feel more cringed out than swept off her feet.

"I'm not an over romantic person at all and anything over the top does put me off," she told the cameras before bursting into tears.

She later spoke to her dad who gave her some reassurance. He told her that he'd rather her be with someone like Dean who seems like he'd protect her. While Sarah valued her dad's opinion, she still wasn't sure, telling her dad: "I think he might be too much."

"My main concern moving forward is will the spark come?" she asked herself while talking to the cameras.

It's too early to say whether they're still together.

Based on their wedding day, things didn't look promising for Sarah and Dean.

And in a teaser for the second episode, which showed the pair on their honeymoon, it looked like things only got worse for them.

"The outbursts of singing and rapping are beginning to grate on me," Sarah confessed after Dean attempted to break out in song at the dinner table.

Dean then asked Sarah if she'd dated someone who was bigger in size and she said no, which made him think twice.

Speaking to the cameras, Dean said: "It's hard to hear. That has left me feeling empty."

They are still following each other on Instagram, although that could be a contractual obligation while the show is airing.
