Tonight's episode of Love Island was giving us all the OG Love Island vibes. The Islanders took part in a new challenge which saw them read out quotes said by their fellow Islanders at various stages during their time in the Villa, and it's safe to say fans were loving the drama the new twist brought.

Introduced towards the end of the episode, after an already tense day in which Harry and Yasmin had a secret kiss in the Hideaway, the new challenge saw the Islanders gather around the firepit, drink in hand and take it in turns to read a quote off a card before all having to guess who said which quote.

The game meant that Shakira's earlier conversation with Toni about her lack of interest in Ben was revealed to the group, as was Dejon's comments about missing bombshell Malisha after she was dumped from the Island, and Toni's thoughts on Dejon being a different person when Meg isn't around.

But perhaps the biggest revelation shared around the fire pit was Harry's confession that he and Yasmin did in fact kiss in the Hideaway (well actually three times as Yasmin pointed out). All day the pair had denied they had kissed, despite many of the group theorising they had, however, towards the end of the game when Harry's quote from the previous day was revealed about wanting to kiss Yasmin, he then did confess to kissing Yasmin in the Hideaway.

While of course it wasn't nice to see any of the Islanders upset over the revelations, many fans were loving the new game, praising the producers for the creation of it over on X.

One person said: "Whoever came up with this game from the production team needs a big fat kiss and a cheque." Meanwhile another said: "this challenge is brutal, loving every moment of it #LoveIsland #loveislanduk." And another said: "THE PRODUCERS ATE WITH THIS GAME HAHAHAHA #LoveIslandUK #LoveIsland." While another posted: "Love Island UK is so back PURE CINEMA #loveisland #LoveIslandUK."

The new game is just the latest in a number of new additions and twists to the series as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

Already this season we've seen Shakira have to fight to stay in the Villa and flirt with all the boys in order to try and secure a place, which she did but ended up with the dumping of Sophie in her place. Then we saw the boys sent on a lads' night out where they met three bombshells, only for it to be live-streamed to the girls back in the Villa. And now with the new challenge, it definitely feels like we're back in old school Love Island territory.
