Love Island fans are fuming following the recent dumping that took place in tonight's episode [18 June].
During last night's episode there was a recoupling in which the boys picked the girls they wanted to recouple with. Due to an odd number of boys and girls, two girls Toni and Malisha were left single.
They then received a text saying one of them would be safe but only after they went on a date with new bombshell Harrison, who would then decide which of the girls he wanted to bring back into the Villa.
Last night's episode ended on a cliffhanger of who Harrison would pick. Tonight's episode then started with the revelation that Harrison had chosen to bring back American Islander Toni after having a better connection with her during the date.
It meant that sadly Malisha, who joined the show at the end of last week, was the latest Islander to be dumped from the Villa. Not only were viewers sad to see Malisha go, but many were also frustrated we the viewers and the other Islanders didn't even get to say goodbye to Malisha, or see her have her final moment.
Usually once an Islander is dumped from the Villa, the other Islanders help them pack and they get to say their goodbyes before being waved out of the Villa.
One person wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter) said of Malisha's unconventional exit: "Malisha didn’t even get a goodbye moment or anything. Just evacuated in the night. That’s rude. #LoveIsland #LoveIslandUK." While another said: "damn are they not going to let Malisha say goodbye or? #LoveIsland." And another added: "They didn’t even show Malisha packing her suitcase, I feel so bad they did her dirty."
Malisha entered the Villa at the end of last week, when she, along with Emily and Yasmin joined the boys on their lads' night out, which was live streamed to the girls back in the Villa.
She tried to crack on with Dejon, who is coupled up with Meg, and throughout her time in the Villa it was unclear whether Dejon was going to pursue things with Malisha.
After a few days of back and forth, including some intense conversations between Malisha and Meg, Dejon decided to recouple with Meg, leaving Malisha single.
Though she was only in the Villa for a few days, Malisha's presence will definitely be missed. Is it too soon to hope she'll be back for Casa Amor? We're keeping our fingers crossed.
