After the longest five days of our lives, last night's episode of The Traitors sadly confirmed Diane did in fact drink from the poisoned chalice, sealing her fate which ultimately saw her leave the show. And if that wasn't dramatic enough, the Traitors then turned on each other with Paul and Harry, along with the Faithfuls, voting to banish Miles. But just how did Diane react to finding out Miles was responsible for her murder?

In case you need a quick recap, at the end of last week's episode, the Traitors were tasked with murdering one of the Faithfuls in plain sight by giving them a 'poisoned chalice' to drink from. The Traitors Paul, Harry and Miles selected Diane as their victim, due to her influence on the group and Miles was tasked with delivering the deadly drink.

In last night's episode (17th January) the country waited with baited breath to see if Diane would drink from the glass, which she unfortunately did. However, her death wasn't immediate and in fact she turned up the next morning at breakfast, much to the surprise of the Traitors.

Diane was then put into a coffin and the group were tasked with figuring out who her murderer was. But before Diane's ultimate demise she told Paul and Evie, "If I die, it's Miles."

Which then set the wheels in motion for Paul to go against Miles at the round table and ultimately lend a hand in banishing his fellow Traitor. Harry also followed suit and simultaneously threw Paul under the bus while whispering to Zack that perhaps it was two Traitors going up against each other at the round table. Miles was then banished from the castle.

Now, in a segment on The Traitors spin-off series The Traitors: Uncloaked, Miles and Diane came face to face (with a glass of fizzy rosé of course) and Miles revealed to Diane he was in fact her murderer.

He said: "'I was a Traitor."

To which Diane responded: "You b*****d! No way, what an amazing game. You killed me then? You wee s**t.

"Everybody has been fooled by you, it's because your name has not been mentioned. You've played such a good game."

Diane then went onto find out who the rest of the Traitors are, stunned to find out Harry was one of them as she read from a scroll with his name on.

"So it says... Christ I can't play this game at all. Harry, that wee b*****d."

As for her reaction to Paul, well she put it simply, "S**t ok."

After Diane had discovered all those bombshells she then went onto reveal one of her own, that Ross is in fact her son.

She told Miles, "One of the nicest things you said to me was 'your children would be proud of you'. Do you know one of them is particularly proud of me. Do you know who? Ross." Cue Miles' absolutely stunned face.

Simply an iconic ending for our Diane.
