From The Stranger to Safe Harlan Coben's thriller series are some of our favourites. Good news, then, that not long after we finished binging Stay Close his next series has already been announced. Shelter, adapted from Coben's book of the same name has been ordered by Amazon Prime, and we couldn't be more excited.
Here's everything we know about Shelter on Amazon Prime, from cast and trailer info to the most up to date news on the series' release.
What is Shelter about?
Adapted from Coben's YA thriller of the same name, Shelter is the first in the Mickey Bolitar series, following Mickey as he tries to navigate life after his mum heads to rehab and his dad passes away.
Things ramp up a notch when Mickey's new close friend Ashley Kent goes missing and a creepy old woman tells him his father isn't really dead. As Mickey searches to uncover the truth about his father and find his friend Ashley he discovers that nothing is as he thought it was.
Who has been cast in Shelter?
We don't have a huge amount of information on the cast as of yet, and since Shelter is YA the central roles are unlikely to be played by recognisable names. However, we do know that the lead role of Mickey Bolitar will be played by up and coming Gotham star Jaden Michael, who you'll recognise from Netflix's Colin in Black and White.
Meanwhile Nancy Drew's Sage Linder will play Rachel Caldwell and Castle Rock star Abby Corrigan will star as Ema Windslow.
Do we have a trailer for Shelter?
We don't yet have a trailer for the show, but we do know that the pilot was ordered by Amazon Prime back in 2021, so we're feeling confident we might have something soon.
When can we expect Shelter to be released?
Again, we're running low on concrete info surrounding the a release date, but given that cast info was being released back in October we imagine we should have some more details soon.
