Euphoria fans, listen up: It looks like viewers' collective dreams may have come true, as fans think they've spotted Tom Holland as an extra in the the HBO show.
Thanks to Zendaya playing Rue in the series, Euphoria fans have long been hoping that fellow actor Tom would make an appearance alongside his girlfriend. And it turns out viewers weren't the only ones dreaming of a Tom feature, with the actor himself previously revealing that he'd been "petitioning" for a part in season two, and Zendaya saying she wanted to sneak him onto set.
Now, it looks like that may have actually happened, as fans reckon they've seen Tom working as an extra in the latest Euphoria episode. Plus, everyone's making the same joke about Zendaya off the back of Tom's supposed appearance.
Season two, episode seven (which dropped on NOW TV on Monday 21st February) sees Lexi (Maude Apatow) putting on the debut performance of her play, though she hasn't told any of her friends or family members that the show is actually about her life. Lexi's schoolmates begin to realise that they feature in the play, with Lexi managing to cast some uncanny doppelgängers in the show - and it's all very meta.
Still, it seems fans' attention was firmly in the audience and not on the stage, as they think one crowd member could be Tom Holland in extra mode.
Pause the episode on one shot of the audience, and you'll spot a man sat in the top left corner who, admittedly, looks a *lot* like Tom Holland himself.
One viewer tweeted, "Damn, Lexi even got Tom Holland at her play?? [sic]," alongside a screenshot of the clip, while another added, "That's literally Tom."
Plus, others have been making the same joke about how Tom supposedly found his way into the scene, with many pointing the finger (of course) at Zendaya.
One fan wrote, "not Zendaya getting Tom Holland a job 😭," with another joking that "Zendaya invited Tom to the show."
Zendaya previously told Entertainment Tonight that she and Tom "joke about sneaking him into the background and seeing if someone can spot him." One fan responded with a screenshots of the clip, tweeting, "Nooo, did Zendaya sneak Tom into this scene[?]"
Is it really Tom or just another impressive doppelgänger? We'll have to wait for confirmation on that one.
