Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova have led a mostly private life, despite being in the public eye. But the couple took a moment to step into the spotlight, to show off their adorable new twins.
The proud parents each shared a photo on Instagram with one of their twins using the caption, "My sunshine."
In Enrique photo, he stares sweetly at one of the babies, while Anna gives the other a giant kiss on the cheek. (The parents don't identify which twin is which.)
These are the first photos Enrique and Anna have publicly shared of their newborns Nicholas and Lucy after a very private pregnancy. At the end of last year, the couple shocked the world when news broke that Anna had given birth on 16th December in Miami after not one single baby bump sighting.
However, in an interview with Hola! magazine, Enrique's mother, Isabel Preysler, clarified that Anna did not intentionally try to keep her pregnancy a secret. According to Isabel, being low-key is Anna's way of life.
"Anna has not had to hide herself," Isabel told the Spanish magazine. "[Anna] leads a very simple life and is a homebody." She also added how much joy her son felt to be experiencing fatherhood for the first time, saying, "Enrique is extraordinarily happy in these moments." And judging from the pictures above, it shows.
Nicholas and Lucy are the first children for both Enrique and Anna, who have been dating for over 16 years, but have apparently never married, despite speculation. "I don't believe you need a piece of paper to show you love someone," Enrique told E! Online in 2016. "Who knows what the future holds...or the past...haha."
