Here's what 8 women look like before and after having a fringe cut
These transformations will convert you too.

"Should I get a fringe or not?" is a debate as old as time. They require consistent trimming, you have to re-learn how to style your hair, and subject yourself to the awkward grow-out phase when you inevitably change your mind. But when done right, they can be the change you never knew you needed. Just look at these very convincing bang before and afters from the San Francisco-based Edo Salon (which we fatefully came across thanks to Instagram's explore page).
Their feed is filled with impressive fringe transformations on such a range of different textures and lengths that every single one will make you want to grab a pair of shears, stat. The salon is particularly gifted at creating "curtain" bangs—the texture is slightly shaggy and more Jane Birkin than Nick Carter.
Check out our favourites ahead, but be warned. If you ask yourself again whether or not you should get a fringe, your answer at the end of the article will be "hell yes."
