Besides being a Royal Princess, charity patron and mother-of-three (oh, and a beautiful one, at that), the Princess of Wales is one of our favourite celebrities to turn to when on the hunt for some hair-spo. Especially during the festive party szn. From the Y2K combover to windswept locks and even courtside curls, K-Mid has done it all – and she's done it all well.
But today, instead of offering up a brand new look, she's provided a classic – yep, it's another take on her iconic Princess curls. The hairdo was shared on Instagram via the Prince and Princess of Wales' page with a preview snap of Kate for her #TogetherAtChristmas ITV Christmas Eve service announcement.
Doesn't she look just stunning?!
As shown, Kate's curls fall perfectly to frame her face and luckily for you, we've got the lowdown on the very styling technique used.
TikTok creator and hair expert, Sarah Brawley recently shared a video, comparing two popular hair curling techniques. On her left (our right) hand side, she demonstrates how to curl your locks away from your face – this is the technique Kate used for her recent and above Princess curls.
Whereas on Sarah's right (our left) hand side, she shows a comparison of the look when curling strands towards your face. See her tutorial and the two contrasting looks below:
Both are equally star-studded but in our opinion (and in putting our collective Cosmo beauty knowledge to good use), curling away is best for a face-framing finish. After all, it is most popular with hairstylists.
