ICYMI, this Sunday marked International Day of the Girl - an global day of celebration and acknowledgment declared by United Nations to promote gender and generation equality for girls everywhere.
To mark the occasion, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry joined activist, Oxford graduate and Nobel laureate Malala Yousafzai to chat about the importance of education for young girls, and the roadblocks to education faced by 130 million girls globally.
Meghan, an advocate and activist for women's rights and girls' education around the world spoke out about her thoughts, sharing:
"What I realised very early on, was that when women have a seat at the table, conversations in terms of policy change, in terms of legislation, and certainly in terms of the dynamics of a community are all shifted. And typically, when a woman is present at the table, she's going to be advocating for an entire family, as opposed to a patriarchal presence."
Along with giving us full-body chills at being in the presence of such badass advocacy, the video also gave us another insight into Meghan and Harry's family home, and another glimpse of the kinds of hair and beauty decisions Meghan's making in her post-royal life.
We're already spotted that she's experimenting and using her freedom to express herself authentically, unrestrained by royal rules and regulations - for example, wearing her super-long hair in new, previously unseen styles.
In this new footage, we also spotted a new development when it comes to her glam choices - specifically, her choice of lipstick: a bold, deep purple.
It's not the first time she's tried the shade - in March she stepped out in a protocol-breaking dark berry shade (everyone knows that lipsticks in colours that pop are reserved for the Queen).
That time it was a sheer, glossy look, whereas this time round, the shade is an unavoidable purple that packs a punch. Is this a symbol she's sending to the royal family, that she's making strides into her new life?
Or could it be that she's tapping into a historically feminist colour. Purple is, after all, associated with the suffragette movement in the UK, and a colour that is said to represent loyalty and dignity - a perfect choice while speaking out about gender rights.
Either way, we think she looks incredible - and even if she just picked this shade because it looks absolutely beautiful on her, we're here for it.
