ICYMI, we recently launched our new sex and relationships podcast, Are We Into This? with Cosmopolitan, hosted by none other than Love Island legend Millie Court and Cosmo’s own Clare Stephenson.

With three eps under our belt, we thought it was about time for a launch party! So last week, we took over the rooftop at The Hoxton in Southwark for a night of cocktails, canapés, and girl talk, with our partners at Femfresh, to celebrate.

If you haven’t listened to an ep yet (why not?!), the premise is simple: every Thursday, we pose one big question about sex, dating, and relationships today, and Millie and Clare attempt to unpack it with the help of experts, celeb friends and Cosmo cover stars, and all of you! So far, we’ve tackled the epidemic of low-effort men, unrequited feelings in friendships, and what it’s like to date a narcissist, the internet’s most prevalent villain.

At the launch, as partygoers sipped cosmopolitans (ofc), took snaps in the photobooth, and enjoyed a beautiful view of London from The Hoxton’s terrace, we got ready for our main event of the night: a panel hosted by our Sex & Relationships Editor Brit Dawson (AKA yours truly), with very special guests Millie and Clare, as well as sex educator and author Scotty Unfamous.

In the spirit of the podcast — but instead of asking just one question — we thought we’d tackle a couple of questions that get to the heart of our romantic lives today. From our worst first date stories to the best dating advice we ever received to whether there’s too many rules and requirements in dating today, our panellists got real about their romantic lives and histories. Millie shared the lessons she’s taken from Love Island into her own dating life; Scotty reflected on how our self-imposed rules are impacting our enjoyment of sex and dating today; while Clare made a case for taking chances on people who don’t necessarily ‘tick all of our boxes’.

Obvs we couldn’t do a podcast panel without including you, so we also took questions from the audience, who asked our panellists for advice on approaching people you fancy IRL, how to keep the sexual spark alive in long-term relationships, and, most importantly, who they’d date from this series of Love Island (three guesses as to who we picked…).

Everyone's clicking on...

You can see some photos of the event in the gallery above, and sign up to Club Cosmo here so you don’t miss future events. And if you haven’t already, make sure to listen to Are We Into This? with Cosmopolitan — and like, subscribe, and review wherever you get your podcasts.

And keep your eyes (and ears) peeled because episode four is out later this week — and, if we say so ourselves, it’s a juicy one!
