If you're looking to bring a bit of summer inside your home, one of the easiest ways to do so (without doing a whole renovation) is to incorporate one of the season's biggest colours - dusky blue.

The summery shade is a nod to the coastal trend that's dominating the homeware stores right now, but means you don't have to go full-on boats and shells to get the coastal feel.

Instead, the dusky blue hue gives a calming and grounding feel to any room you put it in. And Habitat at Sainsbury's is currently selling a blue quilted cushion for just £14 that is ideal for bringing the dusky blue into your home.

The cushion is a quilted blue and cream motif pattern that is eye-catching and will add visual interest to any room you put it in.

The quilted texture gives added depth and cosiness, and would look great alongside other cushions of similar shades, such as marine or azure blue.

One of our favourite things about this cushion is that the cover is machine-washable, so should any summer related stains find their way onto it (look, sometimes we may spill a drop of rosé) it'll be easy to clean.

And we're not the only fans of this cushion, as many Sainsbury's shoppers have left very positive reviews of it on the Habitat site.

One customer said of the cushion: "The quality of this cushion is so soft and comfy the texture is amazing I would definitely recommend this cushion from a very happy customer."

And another had a good idea to use it as an outdoor cushion, saying: "Looks great in my garden bench. Lovely and soft, good pattern."

The cushion isn't waterproof or technically made as an outdoor cushion but it would look great on a bench, sun lounger or outdoor chairs. Just remember to take it in at the end of the day!
