Summer is still in full swing and nothing is more synonymous with the season, than gardens and parks bursting with pretty flowers. However, while the heatwave may have impacted our green spaces outdoors, we can still create that vibrant feel in our homes thanks to floral prints.
Floral prints never go out of style, but the type of florals taking centre stage do change as the years pass. Right now, its all about ditsy and wild florals which give a more relaxed and countryside feel to a space, reflecting the wider interior trend of the moment which is all about leaning more towards a laid-back and tranquil home.
Primark has a number of pretty floral bedding sets that can easily help you achieve the look and all within budget too.
Our favourite is currently this reversible primrose and wild flower bedding set:
On one side of the bedding set there's a cute ditsy primrose floral print that brings soft pink, blue and green hues to a room and on the reverse is a delicate pink and white candy stripe style print.
We love the frill detail on the matching pillows which uses the stripe print to nicely contrast with the floral print of the main section of the pillowcase.
Everyone's clicking on...
It's currently just £12 for a double sized set, which comes with two matching pillowcases too. There's also king and single sized sets available.
Made from a blend of 60 per cent cotton and 40 per cent polyester this bedding set should be nice and comfy when you sink under it every evening.
To complement the floral bedding we'd look to add decorative cushions that pick up the key colours of the florals, so either a blue, green or pink.
Such as this two pack of pink velvet cushions for £6 from Primark:
Or this darker sage green fringe cushion to add some contrast to the bedding set:
So! Much! Colour!
