Love Island UK 2026 only started a few weeks ago, but the cast is already delivering on all the juicy drama we know and love when it comes to the show. Between fiery dumpings, contestants who want chaos in their coupling, and love triangles aplenty, this season is proving to be one for the history books.
And, speaking of love triangles, one contestant who has found herself in a fair few already is Mica. After calling things off with Simba (who is coupled up with Angelista), Mica has rekindled things with Samraj, much to the concern of Priya, who has been getting close to him of late. Mica is 21 years old. She was born in 2005 on May 16, which makes her a Taurus.

Who are Mica's famous relatives?
In a recent episode, several of the Islanders revealed they've dated celebrities in the past. But, as it turns out, Mica has a few famous faces in her family, too.
Mica's aunt is Mia Mottley, AKA the Prime Minister of Barbados. Pretty impressive!
Beyond politics, Mica has other celebrity connections, too. She's a distant relative of Eva Mottley, who played Corinne, Denzil’s wife, in Only Fools and Horses. Sadly, Eva passed away in the 80s, so Mica never met her.
What is Mica's type?
Ahead of her time on Love Island UK, Mica opened up about her type on paper. "Definitely someone that’s tall," she said. "I’m tall myself, so I like to feel small. I like a little bit of a buffer, a bigger guy."
Mica went on: "The most important thing for me is personality. I just want someone that will make me laugh. I want to get along with someone."
What is Mica's Love Island strategy?
Previously speaking about how she plans to land love in the villa, Mica explained: "If I have my eyes set on someone, obviously I’m going to pursue them. But if they’re not reciprocating that, then I’m going to take a step back, have a think, and change directions and think about who else I could explore with."
That said, Mica added that she intends to maintain respect despite the competition. "I’m going to try to be as respectful as possible," she admitted. "If I’m going after someone’s man, I’m going to do it in a respectful way, but I’m still ultimately trying to get what I want."
Is Mica looking for love?
She sure is! Before going onto the show, Mica confirmed she hopes to find love in the villa... but doesn't mind getting involved in drama along the way.
"I’ll dabble in both," she confessed. "Obviously, the whole point is finding love, and that’s going to be my main goal. I’m not saying I’m going to start drama, but if there is drama going on, I would obviously be a little bit nosey and want to know what’s going on."
