Living up to the legacy that is Victoria Beckham is no mean feat, but that's no sweat for 15-year-old Harper Beckham. In recent years, she's followed in her mum's beauty footsteps, matching her hair transformations, sharing makeup tutorials on social media, and most recently, embracing her signature manicure style – and it's one to rival that of every British TV hun. Enter: Ballet blush nails.
Hannah Waddingham, Alison Hammond, and Cat Deeley (can I get a collective "motherrrrr"?) have all repped the ballet blush nail trend, which, as its name would suggest, is a colour reminiscent of pale pink ballet slippers; soft, milky, and glossy. Now, VB and her daughter, Harper, have jumped onto said trend with their own interpretations – as shown in Victoria's Instagram stories below.
The fashion-turned-beauty business head has opted for a medium-length squoval shape – not too long, not too short. Harper, on the other hand, has settled on long, coffin-shaped claws. So, you could say they're coordinated, but not totally matching.
Sure, the colour is pretty 'n' all, but the selling point, IMO, is that they're refreshingly low-maintenance. Compared to darker shades or intricate nail art, ballet blush is far more forgiving when it comes to visible regrowth – and that's thanks to its neutral hue. In practical terms, this means you can stretch that two-week infill appointment to three and a half weeks (or four, if you're lucky). I s'pose that all depends on your gumption, and perhaps more notably, when payday falls...
Though we're sure VB and HB aren't fretting over payday.
