Genetics are a funny old thing. Sometimes a child is the living, breathing image of one parent, right down to the smile. Other times, they seem to have inherited someone's entire face, only to then switch allegiance with a new haircut or a different angle. As for Tess Daly and her daughter Phoebe Kay? With matching high glam makeovers, we seem to think they're serving twins!

The former Strictly Come Dancing presenter recently shared a glamorous Instagram pic alongside her 21-year-old daughter, with the pair sporting matching warm blonde lengths, bronzed complexions and a softly glowing glam. And the resemblance is enough to make anyone do a double-take...

"No longer bring your daughter to work day, but working alongside her 😍 @phoebeekay," Tess sweetly wrote to caption her post.

That said, judging by the comments, the family likeness has become something of a debate. Under the post, which was shared just short of 24 hours ago, followers couldn't quite agree which parent Phoebe takes after.

Team Tess were out in force, with one fan declaring, "Yesssss. It’s giving twins 😍😍😍," while another added, "Looks like sisters." And frankly, we're inclined to agree.

Others, however, were firmly in the camp of dad, Vernon Kay, writing, "She looks like Vern," "Gosh, she is so like her dad 😍," and "so like her handsome Dad."

Everyone's clicking on...

But perhaps the most diplomatic verdict came from one follower, who neatly settled the debate with: "She’s the best of you both."

Honestly, it's hard to argue with that!
