If there's one person who seemingly always knows how to dress—whether it’s a sweaty August afternoon or a crisp September morning—it's Paige DeSorbo. In her latest Amazon Live, the star gave us a peek into the Amazon fashion picks she’s reaching for right now (AKA one of the hardest times of year to get dressed). Paige’s transitional outfit staples? Versatile, effortless basics, sharply tailored pants, and prevalent trends we can carry from summer into fall.

In her late-summer/early fall wardrobe, Paige is going back to basics with essential tank tops and button-downs. But there’s also room for recent trends to peek through: her love for capris, kitten-heel flip-flops, and windbreakers is still going strong. Plus, she’s reaching for tailored shorts, too. “I love a baggy bottom with a tighter top,” she says in the stream. “If it’s too oversized on both areas, it looks like a big ole mess.”
We watched the entire livestream and rounded up our favorite styles ahead, including several more of Paige’s transitional weather styling tips.
Layerable Basics
Paige says she’s worn this button-down short-sleeve t-shirt all summer long, pairing it with capris, jeans, and white linen pants. “There’s just something about it that’s very flattering.…She’s kind of like a cardigan, she’s a little bit professional,” she says, noting that it’s something she’s going to transition into her fall wardrobe, too.
Paige also loves a classic tank top that is great for layering; she’s into this ribbed V-neck style and raves about its softness. When autumn mornings and evenings get chilly, throw on a leather or denim jacket, a cardigan, or even a windbreaker. Another layering essential? A simple tube top like this one from Trendy Queen.
Tailored Bottoms
“I’m very into the trend of these longer shorts...it’s more of a workwear short with a pleat and pockets,” Paige says. “They’re so great for the summer because they’re easy to transition from day to night.” And of course, the star is never far from her signature capri—she loves this pull-on pair, noting “they’re the only ones I wear.”
Paige also loves a utility pant that you can wear well into the fall, pairing it with something more feminine, like a pale pink ballet flat, a cardigan, or a ruffle lace tank top. She’s also been wearing these white linen pants often, either with swimwear or with cute tops, cardigans, and layering pieces.
Classic Outerwear
We all know Paige is in her windbreaker era (proof: the infamous orange YSL windbreaker responsible for “Windbreaker Gate”), and it’s no surprise she’s bringing it into the fall, too. She’s also into a classic white button-down that can be layered or worn on its own. “This with a pair of capris? Very, very cute.”
The Shoe of the Summer
Kitten-heel flip-flops are the shoe of the summer, and Paige has been an early adopter of the trend, especially since she loves how “it gives you a little elevation.” She says these jeweled heeled sandals “were all the rage this summer.” Paige also adores these simple jelly flip flops from Tkees, “in a ’90s super model way, in a Jennifer Anniston in a jeans and t-shirt kinda way.” Of course, while they aren’t a typical fall shoe, you can still sport them on warmer autumn days, and the heeled styles are perfect for dressier occasions.
Staple Accessories
“I’m so happy large sunglasses are back in style,” she says, describing this designer-inspired pair as “so chic and cool.” She’s also into the “adorable” woven black-and-white clutch, whether she’s dressing for the late summer heat or accessorizing an outfit on a crisp evening.
However, these stretchy headbands she wears while filming Giggly Squad are her most-asked-about accessory. She loves how comfortable and easy they are to throw on if you’re having a bad hair day or your hair is greasy. “A stretchy headband with a blowout and big earrings is very 1960s,” she says.
