Calling all Colleen Hoover fans: The long-awaited trailer for the adaptation of Verity has finally arrived, and it looks so chilling.
Starring Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett, the new movie will be based on Colleen Hoover’s page-turning novel of the same name, as young writer Lowen Ashleigh relocates to the home of world-famous novelist Verity Crawford to finish her last novel, but everything is not quite as it seems.

What is Verity about?
Verity is the 2018 romantic thriller novel from acclaimed writer Colleen Hoover, and follows the life of Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson) as she attempts to finish her literary hero’s last book after an accident rendered her incapable.
Here's the full movie synopsis: "Adapted from Colleen Hoover's best-selling novel, this seductive, psychological thriller follows renowned author Verity Crawford (Anne Hathaway) and Lowen Ashleigh (Dakota Johnson), a struggling writer who relocates to the remote Crawford estate to ghostwrite for Verity.

Who stars in Verity?
The three main characters of Verity are played by Anne Hathaway, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett.
Hathaway, best known for her roles in The Devil Wears Prada, The Odyssey, and Les Misérables, is playing legendary writer Verity Crawford, who became unconscious after a car accident.
Lowen Ashleigh is a struggling writer who is hired to complete Verity’s unfinished novel, and she's played by Dakota Johnson, who is known for her roles in Fifty Shades of Grey, Madame Web, and Materialists.
And Josh Hartnett, best known for Pearl Harbor, O, and Black Hawk Down, is starring as Verity’s husband Jeremy Crawford.
The cast also features Ismael Cruz Córdova and Brady Wagner.
