When it comes to speaking openly about the highs and lows of royal life, while Prince Harry has been endlessly candid following his departure from The Fold, the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, is usually a lot more reserved – but recently, she made a candid confession about the one part of her royal duties she finds difficult.
While her and husband, Prince William, make hundreds of public appearances each year – which you'd think would mean Kate is more than at home in a crowd – turns out, that's not so true.
"I find these environments to be really hard," the Princess is reported to have said during a reception at Buckingham Palace last week. "I've also got a very soft voice, so I always get told, 'Speak up a bit louder!'"
Anyone else finding it kinda reassuring that one of the most famous people in the world also doesn't relish the idea of schmoozing a crowd?
The event was marking what would have been the 100th birthday of the late Queen Elizabeth II, with whom Kate is thought to have shared a close relationship. In the end, the late monarch made it to 96 years of age.
