A post-Christmas city break sounds like a dreamy start to the new year, and it might not be as expensive as you think. Following the group ticket deal earlier in the autumn, the latest Eurostar sale is on with over 75,000 cheap seats to Paris and other European destinations available to snap up this month.

How cheap, you ask? From 7 January - Tuesday 20 January 202o, tickets will be available from £29 one-way to Paris and Brussels, from £35 one-way to Amsterdam and from £45 to the South of France.

As usual, there is one important detail to consider. The tickets will only be valid for travel on selected dates. Tickets can be used to go to Paris, Brussels, Lille and Calais between 21st January - 1st April, Rotterdam and Amsterdam between 21st January and 30th March, and 22nd May – 7th September for Lyon, Avignon and Marseille.

Good timing if you're hoping to escape the winter chill, then. Plus, such a wide window of travel is rare for a Eurostar sale, so there's plenty of time for you to get away. However, it's worth noting that the sale has limited seats on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Monday mornings, so if it's a weekend break you're looking for then you might want to hop to it.
