If there's one print we can't get enough of this spring it's the checkerboard. The fun and playful grid style pattern has been popping up all over homeware accessories from trinket trays, to cushions and even rugs. However, if a checkerboard rug is perhaps a bit of a step too far for your home, why not dip into the trend with Sainsbury's £10 checkerboard picture frame?
Late last year Habitat at Sainsbury's launched two checkerboard style products - a trinket tray and trinket box - and the pair quickly went viral. The pieces could be seen popping up in every home influencer's TikToks and Instagram posts, and now the homeware store has released a bunch of new products in the range, and it's safe to say we're checkerboard obsessed.

The photo frame features Habitat's now signature warm tortoiseshell and ecru shades in a grid pattern, creating a striking yet subtle injection of fun into your home.
The photo frame will work for a variety of existing colour schemes, particularly rooms which already have neutrals, green shades or warm rust and burnt orange tones. We can see it placed upon a bedside table, or perhaps nestled on your work desk, or even on a window sill in the kitchen.
It's an easy way to create interest in a space without being overwhelmed with a big patterned piece, and of course you can place a photo of your nearest and dearest inside it.
