There's nothing like the collective buzz of fashion girlies all gripped by the same must-have item. For those of us chronically online (guilty), this won't be a new phenomenon. Be it a Charlotte Simone coat or seriously convincing Bottega Veneta earring dupes, our Instagram feeds and TikTok FYP are regularly flooded with seemingly everyone – or at least those with their finger on the sartorial pulse – all obsessing over the same thing.
Back in February, the item to have the most stylish of It girls and Fashion Editors alike in a chokehold? Adidas' drop of two of its most popular fashion trainer silhouettes in the biggest trending print of 2025. You know, before polka dots came along...
Yes, we're obviously talking about the cow print Samba and SL 72s that launched exclusively on ASOS on Wednesday, 19 February and sold out, like... immediately. Well, good news: the Adidas cow print trainers are *finally* being re-stocked!
When and where to shop Adidas' cow print trainers
ASOS has confirmed both the Sambas (£100) and the SL 72 (£90) silhouette in the brown and cream splotched print will be restocked on Friday, 1 August. Just as before, the drop is exclusive to ASOS, meaning there's only one place you'll be able to get your hands on them.
With animal print reigning supreme the past few seasons, the humble hide had a high-fashion makeover back in the spring, becoming the must-have print. Elevated from cowgirl cosplay, it adorned outerwear and accessories alike on the designer runways before infiltrating the high street, too.
Admittedly, its popularity has waned slightly with polka dots and gingham superceeding for summer, but the look is far from over and the re-stock proves it. Just as the first drop took the trend to the next level and revived the reputation of the Samba after former Prime Minister Rishi Sunak incited their untimely demise (is there any bigger ick than a Tory endorsement? We think not...), we're expecting round two to be similarly impactful.
Everyone's clicking on...
In fact, it's perfectly timed with cow print set to return to centre stage come the colder months. We're planning on imitating SS25's preferred way to style the look by avoiding leaning too heavily into Westerncore and allowing the cow print to act as a statement piece – maybe with a trainer, hmm? – in an otherwise minimal, basic ensemble.
So, whether you missed out last time or you want to get ahead of the autumn winter trend, here's your chance to *finally* get your hands on a pair and join the herd. Trust us, this is nothing to meh, make that moo, about.
