Spring is officially here, and that means it's time to swap out our clunky coats and fuzzy scarves for floaty dresses and denim jackets. Ah, yes, the annual wardrobe changeover is upon us. And, as is tradition at this time of year, adding a few new seasonal items to said seasonal wardrobe is non-negotiable, in our opinion.
If you, too, are treating yourself to a little spring wardrobe refresh, then a trip to Primark ought to be on the cards. Primark's Square Neck Corset Midi Dress nails three spring trends – polka dots, square necklines, and a fit-and-flare silhouette – making it the ideal addition to your roster of 'fits going into the warmer season.
And, we're not alone in spotting what a catch this dress is. Primark has branded it one of their "major find" items. "Grab it before it's gone!" the brand says of this £10 dress, which has a corset-style bodice, shaped with structured seams for a defined fit. As for the neckline, the square finish is modern, while the dropped waist adds flows into a gathered, full skirt.
Although it comes in three colourways, our fave – and the trendiest of the three, if you ask us – is the baby blue with white polka dots. It can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. If you're heading out for brunch with your besties, this dress can casually be worn with trainers (we think these pink Mary-Janes from Next are so cute). For date night, meanwhile, team this pretty dress with a pair of comfy (yet stylish) spring-approved wedge heels.
