Maya Jama is well and truly in the festive spirit as she attended her team Christmas party last night [Thursday 19 December]. Gathering in a private hotel room, the Love Island presenter took to social media to show off the luxe setting for the celebrations that included dinner, drinks and the filming of an amateur music video. All in all, it wasn't actually that different from the Cosmopolitan UK Christmas party.

Posting the 14-second clip to TikTok, Maya can be seen mouthing along to the lyrics of β€˜Peggy’ by Ceechynaa, accompanied by several of her colleagues taking on the role of backing dancers. But choreography aside, it was Maya's ensemble for the evening that we're really here to talk about.

The 30-year-old looked stunning in a cream satin corset top featuring lace cups, pronounced boning and a lacy ruffled hem, paired with matching French knicker-style micro shorts.

As well as nailing the underwear as outerwear trend, the look served major Christmas party inspo. No, you don't always have to go all out with sequins, sumptuous fabrics like silk and velvet can provide just as much of a festive feeling.

Maya managed to strike just the right balance between dressed up and dressed down (ya know, the age-old Christmas day dressing debate), adding sheer black tights and black leather court shoes for a demure feel and keeping the outfit from feeling too much like nightwear or lingerie. She forewent any jewellery and kept her beauty look equally minimal, styling her long dark hair straight and down and sticking to her trademark eyeliner cat flick for her makeup.

Maya's fans were loving the look, taking to the comments section to write:

Thank you, Maya, for providing yet more Christmas dressing inspo. After all, can you ever really have too much?
