Forget what you think you know about Anne Hathaway. The actress has just been revealed as Vanity Fair's April cover star in a seriously steamy snap that sees Anne smoulder at the camera beneath heavily smokey eye makeup while wearing an unbuttoned black sparkly dress to reveal her black push-up bra. But trust us when we say that shot is nothing compared to the accompanying photoshoot.
Easily Anne's most risqué shoot to date, she models further daring looks including lace lingerie, a see-through latex dress, a futuristic PVC bodysuit and micro shorts with a tasselled overlay. Simply put, Mia Thermopolis – or Princess Amelia Mignonette Grimaldi Thermopolis Renaldo come to think of it – could never.
But you don't just have to take our word for it. Vanity Fair has given an inside look at the shoot, sharing a photo on Instagram of Anne wearing a cut-out bodysuit designed to look like an XL bow, a single leather glove, and that's about it...
The Viktor & Rolf design is super sexy, with the thin strap just visible beneath the bow and worn high up Anne's hip. The overall vibe of the ensemble emphasised by the same bouffant hair and dramatic makeup as worn on the cover.

Anne has been on something of a style streak with her off-duty looks as of late. She most recently wowed in a silver sequin jumpsuit (AKA exactly what we want to wear this Saturday night), while elsewhere has stepped out in a rhinestone crop top and cargos, a denim corset and maxi skirt, plus a second denim-corseted suit look.
