Having spent the entirety of awards szn counting down to the Oscars that *finally* took place over the weekend (the evening of Sunday 10 March to be specific), here on the Cosmo fashion desk we thought we could put our feet up for a bit. At least until the Met Gala rolls around in a couple of months.
The likes of Zendaya, Billie Eilish, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Emma Stone, Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo pulled out seriously stunning looks on the awards' red carpet, with Kylie Jenner and Paris Jackson wowing at various after parties. But we've finally got a look at just how Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford spent their Sunday night. Namely, in matching glittery dresses.
While neither Cindy or Kaia were photographed at any official post-Oscars parties, their coordinating party-ready attire absolutely nails mother-daughter date night dressing. And they participated in a home photoshoot to prove it.
Sharing a snap of the pair on her Instagram stories, Kaia can be seen wearing a strapless black dress decorated with gold sequin embellishment while Cindy wears a v-neck, long-sleeve purple sparkly design. They both have their hair down and styled in loose touselled waves, with smokey eye makeup and a glossy lip making them look practically identical.
As well as sharing her mother's story to her own account and adding the caption "my hot date" beneath the image, Kaia also gave her followers a closer look at her 'fit for the evening.
The Celine gown falls all the way to the floor in a close-fitting, floaty silhouette with a dipped back and plunging sweetheart neckline created with wired moulded cups. Captioning the post, "@celine dress of my dreams" we couldn't agree more with Kaia's sentiment.

Cindy also cemented the evening's attire on her gird, posting a short video clip of her posing in the short purple wrap dress. Yep, there's no question where Kaia gets it from, Crawford genes are *strong*.
