As we enter a new year, we're looking to our favourite celebrities to gauge what the hottest fashion trends of 2024 are set to be. Granted, we're only a few days into January RN, but it's already become crystal clear that one trend is set to dominate in the months ahead – and that's naked dressing.
Of course, this trend is nothing new: totally transparent dresses and super sheer separates have become something of a red carpet and street style mainstay in recent years, with celebs rocking ever more daring see-through ensembles in the past few months. Forget the controversy that once surrounded a hint of nip and a flash of underwear – nowadays, it's the more naked the better. And here to prove our point is none other than Kendall Jenner.
The model already spearheaded the now-ubiquitous "no trousers" trend, so we can take her latest totally see-through look on Instagram as hard proof that naked dressing is going nowhere in 2024.
Kenny has shared a carousel of pics on Instagram to reflect on the year just passed and express her hopes for 2024 – and to do so, she's rocking one of the most gorge naked looks we've ever seen. Posing on a beach in some epic tropical location (jel!), Kendall looks absolutely amazing in a ruffled cream-colour maxi dress featuring a *huge* torso cut-out (hello, abs!) and material so sheer that it shows off her lack of bra underneath. It's a design from fellow model Elsa Hosk's fashion line Helsa Studio, more specifically the Hilma Gown – which is, unsurprisingly, already sold out. Weep!
Of all the ways to kick off a new year in style, we'd say freeing the nip in this stunning dress is one of the best we've seen tbh. The model completed the outfit with a pair of Bottega Veneta's cult earrings (which we've found some *epic* dupes of here, btw), wind-swept hair and bare feet for the ultimate New Year's Eve beach look. One photo even shows BFF Hailey Bieber wearing a co-ordinating white maxi dress and gold earrings for the occasion.
It looks like it's gonna be a seriously naked 2024 on the celebrity fashion front, ppl – and we can hardly wait...
