At this point of the year, most of us put good intentions, big plans and bucket list items off until January. New year, new me, new lease of life and all that... Plus, we're pretty exhausted tbh, and *very* ready for a week of doing nothing but eating, drinking and straight chilling. The countdown to cosy Christmas is officially on, ppl!
Katy Perry, on the other hand, is doing things a little differently, and rounding off an action-packed 2023 by ticking just one more thing off her list – that is, performing in Vietnam for the first time ever. On Thursday, she attended the VinFuture Prize ceremony in Hanoi and graced audiences with epic renditions of her biggest hits.
And naturally, to mark such a momentous event, the singer pulled out all the fashion stops, wearing no fewer than *three* stunning gowns throughout the course of the evening. Luckily for us, she posted alllll the pics on her Insta as a lil pre-Xmas treat for the fans, too:
First up, Katy honoured Vietnam's fashion scene by opting for a stunning lilac gown by local designer Cong Tri. It's by far our fave of her looks from the night, with its dramatic sweeping sleeves, sheer draped chiffon and mesh bodice complete with see-through panels. The star completed the look with mega diamond chandelier earrings, and shared BTS shots of herself posing up a storm making full use of dress' billowing material.
Katy then changed into yet another Cong Tri gown, this time a fabulous body-hugging design covered in intricate cream and silver bead embroidery. With its plunging neckline, sheer mesh panels on the waist and elegant silk cuffs, it's the ultimate festive diva look – and it's giving Christmas angel on top of the tree. We love.
And for her final outfit of the night, Katy Perry wore a beautiful Grecian-inspired silver draped dress by Loewe, paired with white heels. WHAT a fashion marathon, and all in just one night! Now, back to the PJs...
