It's no secret we're in the midst of a noughties revival. The Y2K aesthetic has well and truly taken over, with everyone from Emily Ratajkowski and Dua Lipa to Lourdes Leon and Simone Ashley sporting the decade's signature styles. AKA cargo trousers, butterfly crop tops, parachute pants and charm necklaces.

Having lived through the trends the first time around, I've so far resisted being too enraptured by the look, preferring instead to rep Barbiecore, cut-outs and oversized dressing. But there is *finally* a '00s comeback I can get on board with: Girls Aloud.

After splitting up in 2013 and following the death of bandmate Sarah Harding from breast cancer in 2021, Nadine Coyle, Nicola Roberts, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl (she's a one-namer now, like Beyoncé and Cher) have confirmed they are reuniting for an arena tour. The four women were seen arriving at BBC Radio 2 in London this morning to make the announcement.

While we're obvs super excited about the news, can we take a moment to talk about their outfits?

Yep, it's safe to say they are all serving lewks. While they each opted for different styles, they collectively were giving business chic. Perhaps demonstrating just how seriously they are taking their comeback?

Nadine opted for a black leather midi dress with gathered waist detailing. She layered a grey cropped checked blazer with statement power shoulders over the top, and added black suede court shoes. A simple pendant necklace completed the look.

Also getting the check memo, Nicola wore a skirt suit consisting of a wrap-style top with a ruffled neckline and coordinating belted straight skirt finishing just above her knee. Adding a '70s feel, she wore cognac snake print heeled knee-high boots on her feet.

Kimberley similarly opted for a two-piece, sporting the Veronica Beard Anoki Denim Dickey Jacket and matching Rennert Denim Pants, also from the US-based brand. The gold buttons on her denim blazer complimented the two chunky gold chain necklaces she wore around her neck and patent black platforms could just be seen peeking out from beneath the wide-leg hems of her jeans.

And finally, Cheryl's outfit tied in with her fellow bandmates. Wearing a wine-coloured roll-neck top under a pale blue striped button-down shirt, she added a houndstooth blazer on top. She finished the ensemble with black flared-leg trousers with a hem slit and black pointed-toe boots.

The outing is the first time the girls have been seen together IRL since British Vogue shared the news on Instagram with a photo of them all wearing gorgeous black maxi dresses, Kimberley and Nicola's both featuring lace detailing.

The band's style has definitely come a long way since they last performed together. We'll obvs be trying to get tickets, but we don't know what we're more excited about – to sing all our childhood bangers or see what the girls will be wearing?
