Much as we love individuality and a truly unique sense of style, we'll admit that we do also have a lil' soft spot for cute matchy-matchy vibes. Luckily for us, twinning couple style has been trending of late, with everyone from Zendaya and Tom Holland to George and Amal Clooney stepping out in matching looks. So much so, in fact, that when celeb partners have dared go out in completely clashing, contrasting aesthetics, we've dedicated entire articles to what that could possibly signify... Yep, Hailey and Justin Bieber, we're looking at you!
But the celebrity penchant for matching doesn't stop at the couples – pairs of BFFs and mother-daughter duos have been at it too! Enter Taylor Swift's iconic girl squad, Sophie Turner and Dakota Johnson's recent girls night out, and Heidi and Leni Klum appearing in an Intimissimi ad together rocking co-ordinating lingerie looks, to name but a few recent examples.
Our absolute fave type of matching, though? When it's done by a duo who already look super similar... Yep, we're talking about the beautiful – and near identical – Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford. And they really pulled it out of the bag for an Omega event in NYC last night.
How CUTE do they look in their matching all-black 'fits for the occasion? Honestly, we're not sure we've ever seen them looking more similar. The resemblance is uncanny, right!?!?
They still managed to show off their individual styles, though, with Cindy opting for a v-neck black midi dress and leather boots, while Kaia rocked a sexy Alaïa look consisting of a semi-transparent black turtleneck with a pleated mini-skirt, sheer tights and stilettos.
Now that's mummy-and-me style done right, if you ask us. And if their delighted giggles are anything to go by, Kaia and Cindy clearly think so too.
