Now that Beyoncé's Renaissance World Tour and Taylor Swift's Eras Tour are very sadly behind us – and with them, all the *epic* outfits and celebrity spots (Zendaya, Tom Holland, Sydney Sweeney... the lot!) – all eyes are on Madonna as she embarks on her long-anticipated Celebration Tour across the UK, Europe and North America.

The pop icon is well known for her coterie of famous friends and fans, and already within days of kicking off her series of concerts, we've spotted a good few celebs singing and dancing their hearts out at her London shows. The likes of FKA Twigs, Lourdes Leon and Julia Fox have even been invited to join her on-stage for one of the particularly racy interludes.

And last night, none other than Rita Ora and husband Taika Waititi joined the crowds at the O2 to celebrate four decades of Madonna's musical hits. But Rita, a self-proclaimed mega fan, opted for a totally unexpected look for the night...

Errrr, is that an old school uniform she's wearing?!?! It certainly looks like it to us! The singer posted a series of pics from the concert to her Instagram, in which she can be seen posing next to a cardboard cut-out of Madonna while wearing a white shirt sexily unbuttoned from the bottom-up, with a black tie, tiny mini-skirt, tights and over-the-knee biker boots. Here's a closer look:

Obviously, she looks totally fab – as always – but the question remains: what was the inspiration behind her schoolgirl lewk? Perhaps it's an ode to Madonna's strict Catholic school upbringing? Or, is it a more personal throwback to Rita's own childhood spent listening to the pop icon's music?

For now, the mystery remains unsolved. Stay tuned...
