It was just a few short weeks ago we discovered Blake Lively's obsession with the Great British Bake Off. Taking to Instagram, the actress shared a hilarious skit she had filmed with none other than Paul Hollywood himself. Seriously, if you haven't seen it yet, go check it out right now.
And while we weren't exactly surprised she's a fan (after all, who *doesn't* love the feel-good, innuendo-filled TV show? Especially the upcoming season that sees the debut of new host Alison Hammond. We cannot wait!) the fact that Blake – AKA official Hollywood royalty – is queuing up for a coveted handshake did make us freak out just a tad.
But Blake may just earn that handshake if her latest post is anything to go by. And as much as we're impressed by her culinary skills, it was actually her baking outfit of choice that really caught our attention.
Heading to Paris to bake the most amazing Charlotte aux Fraises cake alongside her "favourite pastry chef", Cedric Grolet, Blake donned her designer best for the occasion. Specifically, a navy Chanel cardigan with purple trim, paired with a graphic print midi skirt and pink Barbiecore Christian Louboutin loafers worn *without* an apron.
Yep, you read that right. While some may consider it a style crime to cover up such a stylish 'fit (extra fashion points have been awarded for wearing French designers in the country's capital), others would argue it is a baking crime to not throw on your finest pinny.
Blake poked fun at herself on her Instagram stories, writing over a snap of her look, "It's appropriate to wear aprons to bake. But when you're baking w the king @cedricgrolet it calls for @chanelofficial @louboutinworld".
Everyone's clicking on...
Fair enough. We just hope she didn't spill anything...
