We have been spoilt for choice with fashion trends this year. But amongst Barbiecore, mermaidcore and the Y2K aesthetic, when it comes to red carpet dressing one trend has reigned supreme. Naked dressing.
Yep, all our favourite celebs have been putting their own twist on the look. From Rita Ora's penchant for transparent fabrics and Sabrina Elba's optical illusion graphic print depiction, to Megan Fox's revealing cut-outs and even Amal Clooney who opted for a more subtle nod in a nude-coloured dress.
But Julia Fox has just taken naked dressing to a whole new level. Kicking off New York Fashion Week (and the start of fashion month) by attending the Naomi Campbell x Pretty Little Thing runway show, it's safe to say all eyes were firmly on Julia's outfit – or rather, lack thereof – as she made her way through the city's streets.
When we say Julia's chain bodysuit from NYC-based brand SEKS, was tiny, we mean tiiiny – consisting of two metal nipple pasties held in place by a series of chains forming a bra silhouette. Two further chains connected the top to a sculptural metal piece that sat across her hips. We really hope those chain knickers are more comfortable than they look.
A patent black trench coat from Naomi's collection for PLT was draped around Julia's arms, with matching pointed-toe ankle boots adorned her feet. A black shoulder bag decorated with silver belt buckles completed the statement 'fit.
Julia has acquired a reputation for her bold and daring looks – remember that BDSM leather bustier and the time she went food shopping in her underwear? – but this may just be her riskiest yet given she is practically naked. A very literal take on the trend, for sure.

While we personally won't be sporting anything similar to the office anytime soon, though the current heatwave does have us shedding clothing at an alarming rate, there's no denying it takes guts and confidence to wear such a revealing ensemble. And for that, we're giving Julia fashion *snaps*.
