Emily Ratajkowski is a style chameleon, seamlessly transitioning her looks dependent on her daily mood. While we were overwhelmed at the number of spring/summer trends and microtrends (thanks TikTok, like we didn't have enough going on already), EmRata has tried out seemingly *every* look over the past few months and navigated each aesthetic with ease.

She's done dark academia in a waistcoat and cargos, styled with a pair of wire-framed specs. Ticked off balletcore in an all-white ballerina tutu at the Jacquemus Paris Fashion Week show. Em put a sultry spin on Cottagecore in a cropped gingham set, and channelled Princess Diana in an oversized sweatshirt and bike shorts.

She repped tomato girl summer in a red dress with a thigh-high slit. Plus, she tried the naked dressing style in a thong-exposing see-through brown dress, a sheer Burberry negligee slip and a *very* transparent white dress that included a second big trend – cut-outs.

But one trend EmRata keeps returning to is Y2K.

A marmite look (and potentially triggering for those of us who wore it the first time around), celebs including Sydney Sweeney, Olivia Neill, Lizzo and even OG '00s kween Nelly Furtado have all donned Y2K 'fits as of late.

Having first tried the '00s style in a boob tube and low-rise trousers before following up with a mini tank dress and low-slung belt combo, Emily has again stepped out in a throwback ensemble.

The 'fit in question consists of a white collared cropped shirt with wide sleeves and a plunging neckline from House of CB, worn with a low-rise black satin midi skirt from Silk Laundry. Em added a gold chain belt worn low around her hips for an extra Y2K touch, while her favourite vintage Dior tan knee-high boots completed the look.

Emily was clearly feeling her 'fit. As well as sharing a TikTok video of herself showing off her ensemble on her Instagram stories, she also uploaded a mirror selfie.

Yep, seems like the Y2K trend is here to stay. Time to don your cargo pants, belly chains and butterfly tops.
