While we eagerly await the arrival of Taylor Swift's Eras tour in the UK (even those of us who didn't manage to get tickets, *sob*), we have been taking notes as the singer continues her US concerts to make sure we are prepared come next summer. From memorising the set list and obsessing over the hidden messages in Taylor's manicure, to spotting which celebs have been attending each show and more importantly, what they've been wearing.
Both celebs and fans alike have been rocking beaded friendship bracelets. Sydney Sweeney, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Lawrence and Gigi Hadid have all been spotted in the audience with stacks of bracelets worn up each arm. And they've even been swapping bracelets with fans, with the trading practice a crucial part of the Swiftie Fandom.
Now, Sophie Turner has become the latest star to join the craze.
Taking to her Instagram stories over the weekend, the Game of Thrones actress shared a photo of her wrist accessorised with a pink beaded bracelet spelling out the Taylor Swift anthem 'Fearless'. We don't want to speculate, but it seems an appropriate bracelet for Sophie given she and her husband Joe Jonas are currently going through divorce proceedings. Or it could merely reference her fave Taylor bop, as many of the bracelets spell out song titles from the singer's extensive repertoire.
So, what is the beaded friendship bracelet craze all about?
It's no surprise it has come from Taylor herself, specifically the lyrics from her song 'You’re on Your Own, Kid' from her most recent album Midnights. Taylor sings, "So make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it / You’ve got no reason to be afraid."

And Swifties have done just that, making beaded bracelets featuring the names of songs, albums, Swiftie references, or anything they like. Even Sydney Sweeney and her friends made their own friendship bracelets ahead of the LA show last night.
At one show, Jennifer Lawrence could be seen accepting bracelets from fans, adding to an already extensive collection she wore up her arms.
Meanwhile, Gigi Hadid posed alongside her make-up artist, Patrick Ta, with them both sporting multiple beaded friendship bracelets.
Jennifer Garner gave a shout-out to fans on Instagram who had given her a bracelet and she showed off her *very* impressive collection.
Reese Witherspoon shared a snap of her haul the morning after the night before.
Nicole Kidman (and Keith Urban) wore theirs with the actress thanking fans who'd given them friendship bracelets on her Instagram stories.
There's no question what the must-have Eras tour accessory is. Now you just need to decide if you'll buy a pre-made design from the many Swifties selling Taylor-inspired beaded friendship bracelets on Etsy or give making your own a go for a custom style.
