Festival season is officially in full swing, and with so many *major* bands and pop stars on tour this year, we have to say that this might just be the best one yet. First up, there was the one and only Beyoncé with her epic Renaissance World Tour (for those lucky enough to nab tickets!), then the glorious Harry Styles, Lana Del Rey, Bruce Springsteen and Elton John who closed Glasto with an epic bang – to name but a few.
But for K-Pop fans, it has to be South Korean girl group BLACKPINK's second world tour that is the highlight of the summer. And not just for the music, either... Having recently taken over the stage at BST Hyde Park, superstar band members Jennie, Lisa, Rosé and Jisoo are now in Paris for the French leg of their Born Pink tour – and they've been rocking some seriously fashion-forward 'fits to match.
All four gals are known for their unique sense of style, but it's Jennie who has grabbed our attention this time around. Why? Well, the 27-year-old singer just put a *very* stylish twist on the Balletcore aesthetic, and it's truly something else.
Obsessed with this look? Us too, tbh. Jennie is giving allllll the gothic ballerina vibes in her super cute black tutu dress from Simone Rocha's AW23 collection, featuring glittering sequins (perf under those stage lights!) and tonnes of little embroidered bows. Bows are her signature, after all!
But the ballet vibes didn't stop there. Always one to commit to a look fully, Jennie added a pair of sequinned legwarmers by Chanel (obvs!) and some platform Mary Janes by Three To Eighty.
Jennie's all-black lewk sure makes a welcome change from the Barbie-inspired hot pink that we're seeing *literally* everywhere else... And it makes for some great inspo for those of us who want to nail the Balletcore trend without going the obvious route. Take notes, people!
Oh, and for those who want to copy her outfit *exactly* (we don't blame ya!), we've done the hard work of finding it for you. Bank balance, beware...
