The French are known for their effortless sense of style. From Breton tops to the beret, designers like Coco Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent hailing from the country, and Paris Fashion Week maintaining its title of ultimate fashion capital, France has made quite a contribution to the fashion industry.
And Selena Gomez is embracing the French approach during her trip abroad. Currently visiting the capital to promote her Rare Beauty line, Selena was giving full Parisian chic vibes (not to mention *plenty* of style inspo) with her latest 'fit. When in Rome – or, err, Paris.
Taking to Instagram, the singer and actress shared a series of snaps of herself in a mirrored lift wearing a cream Christian Dior short-sleeved sweater. The puff shoulder knit features ribbed details on the cuffs and hem, and the House's lucky star and a hand-embroidered 'CHRISTIAN DIOR' signature are emblazoned on the front of the chest.
Selena paired the monochrome design with a white chiffon skirt and had a black patent leather shoulder bag tucked under her arm. Continuing the French girl theme, she had her hair pulled back into a sleek ballerina bun, with large gold hoop earrings her only jewellery. Talk about an elegant and ladylike look.
Fans rushed to the comments section and some of Selena's famous pals also made an appearance with Paris Hilton simply leaving a heart eyes emoji and Zoe Saldana writing "Cute!!!". Plus, in a sweet throwback moment, David DeLuise (who played Jerry Russo, the father to Selena's character Alex Russo, on Wizard's of Waverly Place) added "❤️". We love to see it.
This is the second Parisian-esque ensemble Selena has rocked this week on her trip. In a video shared to Instagram by her makeup artist, Selena is wearing a white collared shirt with a preppy black and white striped pleated mini skirt just seen in shot. Wearing her hair in a half-up hair style, Selena has added a Chanel bow. Très chic.
We don't know how long Selena is planning to stay in Paris but one thing's for sure, we can't wait to see her next outfit.
