We've all experienced a fashion emergency. From splitting our trousers seconds before we're supposed to walk out the door to spilling something down the entire front of our dress, there's no feeling that quite compares to that momentary panic. Standing frozen so as not to make the situation worse while mentally running through our entire wardrobes to find a suitable alternative outfit with literal minutes to spare.
Or, surely the worst of all fashion emergencies, losing your suitcase on holiday and being forced to wear your partner's pants and tourist t-shirts from the hotel gift shop. If only we had a personal stylist to come to our rescue like Zendaya has.
Yep, the singer and actress attended the Bulgari Hotel Roma opening event in Rome last night and *spoiler alert* she looked stunning. But the super cool glitter suit wasn't what she had originally planned to wear.
Zendaya, who is a Bulgari brand ambassador alongside the likes of Priyanka Chopra and Anne Hathaway, arrived at the bash in an oversized black blazer and coordinating trousers covered in silver glitter. She added even more sparkle in a mesh rhinestone-encrusted see-through top, while black courts finished the look. It's a low-key twist on the super popular naked dressing trend.
She was naturally wearing Bulgari jewels including a selection of diamond rings, and her hair was styled to show off her diamond drop earrings.
We would never have guessed Zendaya's lewk was pulled together at the last minute. But, that's apparently the case as her dress for the event got lost in transit. Taking to her Instagram stories, Zendaya shared an up-close snap where she explained the situation. With an hour to get ready, she was able to source the Valentino suit at the last minute. Tagging her long-time stylist, Law Roach, in the post, it looks like he saved the day.
