We're only days into June and we're already jealous of Hailey Bieber's summer. If the model and entrepreneur's latest Instagram posts are anything to go by, she's currently spending her days in swimwear soaking up the sunshine. From the wine-red 'kini bottoms she paired with a "Got Milk" slogan t-shirt to go paddleboarding in, to the baby blue thong bikini and see-through tank she repped just days ago, it's safe to say the wife of Justin Bieber is in full holiday mode.
But Hails is squeezing in a little bit of work, too. Heading once again to social media, she plugged the latest launch from her beauty brand, Rhode, alongside photos of herself wearing a see-through cardigan in an outdoor glass bathtub.
Okay, we admit it sounds a little crazy, but we promise this is not a hallucination as the result of a fever dream. Check it out for yourself:
The newest product from Rhode is the Glazing Milk, a hydrating ceramide facial essence the brand is labelling "the essential prep step". Apparently, it's a potent, nutrient-rich complex with a milky texture that boosts barrier function and provides immediate luminous hydration. And from the looks of Hailey's snap, she's bathing in it.
Sure, we have questions. But first, can we talk about Hailey's teeny tiny, very see-through, completely open cardigan? Taking the naked trend to new extremes, the sheer white design features a tie at the neck, but apart from that is left to fall open over Hailey's torso. A pair of strappy white bikini bottoms can just be seen in shot, but apart from a pair of gold earrings that is all Hailey has on.
The cardi is actually very similar to one she's previously worn. Sharing a carousel of images on 29th May, Hailey included a selfie wearing a pink knit with a frilled hem and cuffs. The design is the 'Zinnia' silk cardigan from Khaite. Featuring a V-neckline, the cardigan had 5 small buttons at the top with the rest of the design left to sit open over her stomach.
We would usually consider the cardigan a layering piece, a lightweight knit ideal for throwing on over the top of something when it gets a little chilly. Just as our grandmas taught us. However, Hailey has styled hers with either just a bra underneath or nothing at all. The cool-girl way to make a cardigan work this summer – t-shirt optional.
