As all fashion fans (and observers of British bank holidays) know, the beginning of this week marked the first Monday in May - a day off across the UK and the biggest fashion slay marathon of the year. In case you don't catch my drift, it was the Met Gala, people!

Yep, we've just witnessed what amounts to the fashion Oscars, the fashion Super Bowl and just about the most major style event of the year. For most of us who are sadly not invited, the Met Gala is an opportunity to judge designer couture from our sofas - channelling our inner Miranda Priestley for the evening. In short, it's a big deal!

One family that showed up - and showed their peers out - was the one and only Kardashian-Jenner clan. Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner formed a trio of fashion supremacy on the red carpet and basically took our breath away in looks that ranged from a Playboy-referencing pearl naked dress to a spangled Marc Jacobs short-shorts tuxedo. It's every bit as extra as it sounds, yes.

Out of her sisters, Kylie rocked perhaps the most low-key look in a slinky asymmetric red Jean Paul Gaultier gown with cut-outs, a majorly high leg and two-tone robe on top. It was a look, that's for sure!

But even after the event, Kylie stays serving! The day after the gala, she was out on the streets of NYC wearing a to-die-for look and appearing remarkably fresh. Specfically, she was papped in a gorge spin on the naked dress trend wearing a sheer, fawn midi dress embellished with a floral pattern. She accessorised with a slicked-back bun, a red clutch and white sling backs.

Who knew florals for spring could be so chic?
