If I had to guess the on-screen muse of this season, Beatrix Kiddo (a.k.a. The Bride) in Kill Bill, played by Uma Thurman, would not have been it. BUT I'm not mad at all. In fact, I'm delighted that the iconic mustard yellow leather set has been promoted from cool Halloween costume status, to one of this season's biggest celebrity-approved fashion trends. So far, we've seen both Dua Lipa and Katy Perry rep not-so-subtle homages to the character's famous look. Now, Kim Kardashian's just gone and joined the crew. And, as they say in Fashion Land: 'Three's a trend'.
Kim, who is currently holidaying in Japan, has been sharing loads of fun outfits with her 352 million Instagram followers. From matching a furry pink coat to her cute Hello Kitty manicure, to sporting a neon green jumpsuit look, Kim is definitely embracing a bolder wardrobe than usual. And her most recent 'fit is no exception.
Overnight, Kim shared another 'gram wearing a distinct yellow leather jacket featuring bold black stripes down the sleeves. The Kardashian styled the 'fit with a pair of skin-tight trousers and knee-high black boots, sunglasses, and a loose updo. As though the outfit tribute wasn't clear enough, Kim included two pics of Uma in her famous role as part of the post and even tagged the location as a dedicated KILL BILL reso bar.
Her caption? "You and I have unfinished business 🍣".
