Dua Lipa has made no secret of her TikTok-savvy, unexpected style. In fact, she sits up alongside Bella Hadid as one of the ultimate celeb icons for the 'weird girl', Japanese street style-inspired trend featuring unexpected layers and combinations and off-kilter accessories (remember Dua's fluffy af bag with the paper clip strap?).
Seriously, the 27-year-old musician is the ultimate Gen Z style-setter, jumping on last winter's chalet girl chic style with massive yeti boots, rocking a jellyfish-style dress earlier this summer and giving use a dose of indie sleaze in Mugler. Basically, she's always stepping out in the latest TikTok micro trends before most of us have even had a chance to work out what the right hashtag for it is.
She's also known for mixing her serious high fashion credentials, with tonnes of access to the likes of Versace (for whom she's walked the runway and appeared in an ad campaign with a fiery red 'do), with an eye for emerging brands like Fanci Club and D'Accori that most of us (except celeb stylists) have even heard of. Essentially, Dua Lipa knows what's next in fashion and we love her for it.
As a result, her regular Instagram dumps are a place to scout out new trends and check out what major trends may be coming our way. And her latest is no exception. In a grid carousel shared to her 87 million followers, she debuted a look featuring a floral green dress layered over a pair of matching flared trousers with lace-up detail and a super cute cropped cardi.
But let's zoom in a little bit on her footwear, please. Not only is she wearing chestnut Uggs, a major Pumpkin Spice Latte season essential, this particular pair of boots seem to be absolutely covered in little silver hoops - like you would wear as an earring. Is this the beginning of customisable footwear jewellery and charms?
Not quite. These aren't your regular Uggs and no customising has gone on here. They're actually a pair of Uggs from a limited edition collab with the brand KNWLS, which feature this studding detail and a shearling trim.
Fancy trying this one at home?
