Throwbacks are all the rage nowadays. Whether it's major reboots like Gossip Girl 2.0 or the Addison Rae-helmed remake of She's All That, we all can't get enough of nostalgia. Then there is the TikTok-driven pop punk revival, seeing everyone do their best Avril Lavigne impression. Fashion-wise, Y2K style is everywhere - so much so, it was practically an extra character on Euphoria. In short, if you grew up in the late 90s or 00s, you'll recognise the cultural touchstones of that time getting a major 2022 glow-up.

And it turns out, the mega stars out there aren't immune to the lure of a throwback or two. Whether it's Blake Lively giving us a Blair Waldorf-esque bikini look or Billie Eilish giving us some Tumblr-era grunge, the biggest stars are all over a vintage moment. The latest star to give us a major retro moment? None other than Kendall Jenner.

Stepping out in Los Angeles to celebrate the latest product launch from her sister Kylie's makeup company Kylie Cosmetics, Kendall wowed event goers with a look that was giving some major Bella Hadid vibes. She wore a slinky multicoloured cocktail dress with an interesting twist: the sophisticated slip bore a futuristic-looking robot on it. It's very much the collision of worlds we'd expect to see on someone like Hadid, whose signature style is all about unexpected combinations and street style inspiration.

However, the outfit actually took another iconic model as its reference point. The dress is vintage Dolce & Gabbana and was worn by iconic noughties supermodel Gisele Bündchen on the runway during Milan Fashion Week in 2000. A major fashion moment if you ask us.

Kendall accessorised the look with a leopard print bralette peeping out from the top of the dress, bright blue eyeshadow, a glittering diamanté clutch and a slick bun.
